This is my fourth year at Emerson and my third year teaching first grade.  I received my degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kansas and Oklahoma State University in the fall of 2006. 

Mr. Nelson and I married on the Fourth of July in 2008.  Mr. Nelson is a firefighter/paramedic for Owasso Fire Department.

In 2009, we welcomed our son Keith to our family.  He is now a two year old that gets into everything and charms everyone.  We also just had a baby girl!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching Kansas basketball, and watching a good rugby match.
